Randonner sur un sentier en arête

ridge-meribel
In front of the beauty, the "Aiguille du Fruit"

Hiking on a ridge trail

A 30-minute hike takes you to the steep ridges and majestic Aiguille du Fruit, with its sublime 360° panorama and 2 wild valleys below, and the chance to spot chamois. And if you want to continue the adventure, the loop takes you back down to Méribel-Mottaret via the Plagne plateau, in 1h30.

Access: From Méribel-Mottaret, using the Pas du Lac gondola.

Route: red for the loop - number 9

A Moment by an Alpine Lake

"Lac Bleu"

"Lac bleu": A contemplative stroll accessible to all

A 1 hour 30 minute hike will take you to this little emerald gem nestled at the foot of its rocky outcrop.

  • Access: From Méribel-Mottaret, take the Pas du Lac gondola, then the Saulire cable car on the way down.

  • Route: Verdons Trail – No. 17

  • Reminder: Gondolas are free on the way down!

What if you reached Lac Bleu by air?

With your 3 Vallées pedestrian pass, let yourself be carried from one summit to another by the mountain lifts.

Starting from Méribel-Mottaret, take the Pas du Lac gondola up to the top of Saulire. Take the time to admire the exceptional panoramic views before boarding the cable car for the descent. The journey continues towards Courchevel 1850 with the Verdons gondola, and ends with the Chenus gondola.

Once at the top, just a 5-minute walk will take you to this magnificent alpine lake, nestled at an altitude of 2,254 metres and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

And the way back? Simply follow the same route… in reverse!

Taking the high road

Rocher de la Loze ridge

Take in the view over the valley and climb to the top of the Rocher de la Loze, get a bird's-eye view of the lake below and realize that it's possible to ski straight down... These bipeds are crazy!

Access: From Méribel-Mottaret, take the Pas du Lac gondola, then the Vizelle gondola on the way down. Remember: gondolas are free on the way down! 1h30 to the summit

Route: red color - number 6

⇢ You can cheat like Edmée and Auguste, our hyperactive and ultra-resourceful little mascots, by completing the first part of the course on an electric bike: a great opportunity to vary the pleasures of outdoor activities!

Without a drop of sweat

Effortlessly, using the lifts of course! Up there, there's no need to engage in extreme sports to create endorphins: you can feel the fresh air of altitude, the view plunges down on the resorts of Courchevel and Méribel, the panorama is 360° on the surrounding massifs: Ecrins, Mont Blanc, Vanoise, Bauges etc etc. You're in such a good place that you lose track of time ... NB - we've been there!

Access: From Méribel-Mottaret, with the Pas du Lac gondola (20min)

Contemplating marmot rituals

Marmots!

Meet our locals

Our little mountain balls love to bask in the sun, and we love to be able to see them up close and personal, without disturbing their daily rituals: rolling in pairs, napping in the sun, nibbling clovers...

Access: 45 minutes to reach the entrance to the Plateau de la Plagne, with its cows, marmots in the sun and the river running through the center of the valley. An idyllic, soothing picture, a much-appreciated boost in these somewhat special times!
