The construction is advancing at a good pace ready for the new Côte Brune bubble lift to be operational for next winter season, to take you to the summits of Méribel-Mottaret and Les 3 Vallées.
The teams are working through each stage on site: the civil engineering works, fixing the new pylons in place, raising and adjusting the cables… Meticulous work to keep the project on schedule.
The construction is being undertaken responsibly, with concrete actions to limit the environmental impact and respect the balance of the terrain:
The concrete is made on site, reducing transport requirements and CO₂ emissions ;
All residues are collected and treated ;
Used water is filtered, treated and reused to avoid wastage ;
A study into the construction site was carried out to best protect sensitive areas and respect the terrain.

The removal of the old chairlift marked the beginning of this huge transformation. In its place, an ultra-modern gondola: 50 spacious bubbles, accommodating up to 10 people each, to replace the 128 chairs. No more biting cold and icy drafts! With a speed of 7 metres per second, the new lift can transport up to 2,600 skiers per hour, compared to 2,200 before. Faster, more comfortable, and of course, much warmer – the ride up will be a real pleasure.
There are also some further visible differences: just 14 pylons in place of the previous 25! And to improve the flow of passengers, two boarding platforms have been specially designed. The result? A quick ascent and no waiting, even at peak times. Whether you are a beginner or experienced skier, access will become easier for all.
