The best panoramas in the 3 Valleys : awe-inspiring scenary

The best summit in Meribel

Summit of Mont Vallon - 2952m : Glacial terrain

The plunging lines of the Gébroulaz glacier and the Tueda National Reserve are so utterly absorbing, it’s hard to tear yourself away to ski down! The terrain here is high-altitude, glacial and rocky with an almost austere beauty. Take time to enjoy a moment’s silence and breathe the mountain air while you feel yourself becoming a tiny part of the snow, the rocks and the deep, icy glaciers.

Col de la Loze - 2304m : for your best sunset

The Col de la Loze, the place to be. The promise of this plateau summit: soothing views, paragliding flights, panoramic views of the 2 valleys of Courchevel and Méribel and the villages in front of you. The best time to get there? Late afternoon, as the sun slowly begins to set behind the peaks of the Vallée des Belleville... And imagine it as the finish line of the Tour de France, by bike! Yes, this pass hosted a Tour de France finish in the summer of 2020, one of the most complex stages according to the riders.

In short, the best place to enjoy a 5-star sunset before heading back to the warmth and letting the groomers work the slopes for another day of skiing on freshly groomed snow!

Saulire - 2740m : unmissable viewpoint

Quite simply, the must-see summit if you ski in Méribel! In front of you, the Grande Casse, Savoie's highest peak (3855m), the Vanoise glaciers and all the rest. The little extra? When a sea of clouds invades the landscape, leaving only the summit of La Vizelle, the gondola in front of you, to emerge from the clouds... It's a breathtaking sight that will remain engraved in your memory for a long time to come, we promise!

Access via the Pas du Lac gondola from Méribel-Mottaret or the Saulire Express from Méribel Chaudanne.

Roc de fer - 2294m : Wilderness atmosphere

Stop everything! At the summit of Roc de Fer, the feeling of being away from it all dominates. The view is sublime, with the Vallée des Encombres right in front of you. One ridge follows another, all the way to the Southern Alps, which you can see on a clear day.

This is one of the best spots in the ski area for a picnic on a rock. Afterwards, the crows will feast on your leftovers and offer you a poetic and musical ball. In short, a wild moment not to be missed.

Access by Olympic chairlift.

Right next door in the 3 Vallées

On top of the world at 3200m

Cime Carron - Val Thorens

At the arrival point of the famous Cime Carron cable car, an esplanade awaits you where you can enjoy a bird's eye view of the Maurienne or the Vallée des Bellevilles, with the resort of Val Thorens below.

And just in front of you, these 3 peaks, which stand out from the other summits because of their original shape, are the Aiguilles d'Arves.

A well-kept secret at 2804m

La Masse - Les Menuires

A breathtaking 180-degree view, a little well-kept secret to enjoy a breathtaking panorama. The little extra on this summit is its sculpted ibex: kitschy but perfect for a photo to send to your friends!
Italian-esque crags

Signal - Courchevel

Standing opposite the unique contours of the "Brèche de la Portetta", you could feel as though you were in the Italian Dolomites. From here you can also admire the Italian side of the monolithic Monte Bianco (Mont Blanc). Take in the views and don’t miss your chance to take a few photos!
