All you need to know about beginners' ski passes for Méribel
The beginner's package is deliberately offered on a daily basis. This allows skiers to discover the pleasures of skiing in complete freedom, without obligation, and to progress at their own pace. As soon as you're ready to explore more slopes, it's easy to switch to a Vallée de Méribel or 3 Vallées ski pass and take full advantage of the ski area.
The beginner ski pass is currently only available in the Méribel area. It enables novice skiers to progress with complete peace of mind on adapted, safe slopes. This special offer is not available throughout the 3 Vallées. To access the world's largest ski area, you need a Vallée de Méribel or 3 Vallées ski pass.
The transition to red runs depends more on how you feel and how comfortable you are, than on a precise number of days. Once you've mastered the turns on blue runs, can control your speed and feel confident, you're ready for the reds. At this point, it's easy to switch to a Vallée de Méribel or 3 Vallées package to expand your playground.
If you're starting out with a ski school, check with them directly: some include the ski pass in their package, while others ask students to buy it separately. The beginner ski pass is perfectly suited to accompany your first lessons on safe, accessible slopes. Depending on your progress, you can then opt for a Vallée de Méribel or 3 Vallées ski pass to continue skiing freely.
