Why choose a Méribel ski pass?

The Méribel ski pass allows you to access the ski lifts. In the Méribel valley there are 43 lifts, which give you access to 150km of ski slopes. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, a ski pass will give you access to suitable pistes. Take the ski lifts to enjoy breathtaking views at the heart of the largest ski area in the world.

What types of ski lifts are available in Méribel?

We offer a choice of ski passes: for those who wish to ski in Méribel for a half day or full day, there are passes to suit you.

The 6-day pass is ideal for anyone spending a week-long holiday in the mountains.

We also have season ski passes: unlimited, or 3 days per week. Two perfect solutions for whichever option works best for your needs.

Do the ski pass prices vary at different times of the year?

Yes, the ski pass pricing varies at different times of the winter season, as follows:

  • ​​Early season

  • Pre-holiday week

  • Main season

  • End of season

Throughout the year, you can purchase your Méribel ski pass online. If you prefer, you can buy them in the resort at our Méribel Mottaret sales office, open every day of the season from 8.35am to 4.45pm.

What are the advantages to buying a ski pass online?

By ordering your ski pass via our website, you will avoid any queues at the lift pass office when you get to Méribel.

When you arrive, you can simply unload your suitcases and enjoy your holiday: the lift pass activates when you pass through the barriers at your first ski lift.

And what’s more, you benefit from free cancellation until the day before your first day’s skiing. For extra peace of mind, why miss out?

How can I collect my Méribel lift pass after ordering?

You have a choice as to how you can collect your lift pass.

Choose to:

  • Collect from a lift pass office in Méribel Mottaret

  • Pick it up at a ticket machine in Méribel Mottaret

What happens if my ski pass is lost or damaged?

Should your ski pass get lost, stolen or damaged, go straight to a sales kiosk in Méribel Mottaret. You must show your order number or your confirmation to receive an exchange or replacement.

Is it possible to receive a refund on an unused ski pass?

We offer free cancellation for unused ski passes when your request for a cancellation is received at least 24 hours before the start of the lift pass. After this, no refund can be given.

Is it possible to pay with digital ‘chèques vacances’?

Yes, we can accept payment for all or part of your ski passes with digital chèques vacances.

Do you offer discounts or offers for Méribel ski passes?

There are several ways to save money on your lift pass:

  • Sliding scale prices: From the 6th day onwards, each additional day of skiing costs you less.

  • Family Flex: Special offers are available for families, enabling you to benefit from discounted rates.

  • Off peak prices: During quieter periods, you can get discounted lift passes.

These options are ideal help you to enjoy the ski area whilst making the most of your budget. Don’t forget to check the available offers before you travel, to get the best prices.

Can I lend my ski pass to someone else?

No, ski passes are personal and non-transferable. It is strictly forbidden to lend, hire or resell your pass to another person. Checks are carried out in the resort and fraudulent use may be fined. To avoid a disagreeable outcome, choose a ski pass that is suitable for your age group and that is your own. By following this advice, you can avoid problems and enjoy a stress-free day’s skiing.

Why should I take out ski pass insurance?

Taking out insurance is highly recommended for peace of mind on the slopes. It protects you against unforeseen circumstances and covers you for:

  • Rescue costs: In the case of an accident, the ski patrol rescue service can represent a significant cost (over 620 euros on average). The insurance covers these unexpected charges.

  • Refunds on unused services: Should illness or injury affect the length of your ski holiday, you may be compensated for unused ski pass days or lessons.
